Woman who was HIV +ve is now HIV –ve

The dawn of the new dispensation in our country is believed to have bettered the lives of many people. However, the government’s strides in attaining this, has never been without challenges.

The combat against the scourge of HIV/AIDS disease still remains unabated. But as many continue to have their lives ravaged by this killer disease, others have now become living testimonies of the impossibilities that the Almighty God can do.

27 Year old Regina Mooke from Soshanguve, north of Pretoria, bears this testimony.

For this mother of two boys, aged 9 and 2, the year 2005 was fraught with distresses. This was after she found out about her HIV positive status. The status which almost dashed all her hopes of living a profitable life.

But thank God for her sister who invited her to Destiny Healing Church, for prayers and healing. Regina came to church on the 8th of October and was among those whom Father God touched through Prophet Joseph Nartey.

Relieving the events of that day, she stood in the front row of those that were prayed for, as she sobbingly related her problem to the man of God.

"Let me tell you the secret, crying won’t solve your problem, I want to tell you the truth. The truth is to believe that God will deliver you and it shall be done. God bless you. You are free", said Prophet Nartey.

In a relieved mood, she took the Word of the Lord that she was indeed free and turned back to her seat. But this wasn't over and done. Regina extended her faith by going for an HIV test the day preceding the prayers she received from the man of God.

The results came out negative, much to her expectation. But to some members of her family, this was hard to comprehend.

"My husband never believed in christiantiy, for him it was like magic. But now he believes that God can do anything", said Regina.

Regina refused to succumb to the devil’s lie that she would have her life short-lived as a result of this monstrous disease.

She now adds to the millions of those who are proclaiming that "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever", according to Hebrews 13:8. Indeed He is the power, the anointing, the grace and the will of God.
