Prophet Joseph Tei Nartey, an evangelist, a seer and a teacher of the Word of God, is the founder of the Destiny Healing Evangelical Church.
Born in Ghana, he acceded to God's calling as a healing minister and had since left his country for South Africa in 1995 to begin this deeper walk with the Lord. Uncompromising and full of faith, Prophet Nartey believes that walking in God's vision is the ultimate in the Kingdom of Heaven. "When you lose your vision, you lose the voice of God", he said.
As the Apostle Paul says, "If
the Good News we preach is hidden behind a veil, it is hidden only to those
who are perishing".
2 Corinthians 4:3
But the man of God says the unfolding of his vision in 1988 and the subsequent establishment of the Destiny Healing Evangelical Church in 2004 in Pretoria was for this reason: to put people’s lives into perspective.
"Destiny means putting people in their respective purpose in God and that’s what we’re doing. The ministry is about healing the sick as well", he said. There are other ministries within the ministry which includes building orphanage shelters, feeding the poor and engaging in worldwide evangelism.
More than just a year ago since it existed, God has touched many people's lives in the ministry through Prophet Nartey in an awesome way. Miraculous healings abounded. Many who couldn't walk unaided were seen leaving their crutches and wheelchairs and walking on their own. The power of God had repaired hearing for those who were either partially or completely deaf. Many were also healed of HIV/AIDS, cancer, skin diseases, eye problems and other sicknesses.
People's huge debts were cancelled and those that the
enemy had kept in bondage through demonic attacks were delivered and
set free. The Ministry had recently held its first crusade in Mamelodi, east
of Pretoria, where scores of people received their healing. Many testified
of the glorious wonders that Father God did for them through the ministry.
